ISLAMABAD: The prices of petroleum products are likely to decrease slightly from September 1.

According to sources, the price of petrol is likely to decrease by 61 paise per liter for the next 15 days, while the price of high-speed diesel is likely to decrease by Rs 3.13 per liter.

The price of kerosene is likely to decrease by Rs 1.57 per liter and the price of light diesel oil is likely to decrease by Rs 2.61 per liter.

OGRA will send its working report on petroleum products to the Finance Division through the Ministry of Petroleum late tonight.

The Ministry of Finance will issue a notification of the price reduction after consulting the Prime Minister.
