Islamabad: U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker met with Minister of State for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Kheal Das Kohistani, in Islamabad. The meeting focused on the promotion of religious freedom, interfaith harmony, and mutual respect among all communities. Natalie Baker underlined that the United States values Pakistan’s religious and cultural diversity and stands committed to advancing respect, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence. She emphasized that the U.S. is determined to work with Pakistan in strengthening these shared values and promoting interfaith dialogue.

Minister Kheal Das Kohistani highlighted that Pakistan is committed to protecting the rights of all minority communities and considers interfaith harmony an integral part of its national policy. The U.S. Embassy in Islamabad also issued a statement noting that the discussion was fruitful and reaffirmed the joint resolve of both sides to encourage respect among communities and uphold the principles of religious freedom and interfaith understanding.
