Former Caretaker Federal Information Minister Murtaza Solangi has been appointed as the President’s Spokesperson.

According to the notification, the appointment of Murtaza Solangi as the President’s Spokesperson will be immediate, while the position will be honorary. Murtaza Solangi’s appointment will remain effective until further notice.

The notification was issued by the President’s Secretary Shakeel Malik. A copy of the notification was sent to the Prime Minister, the Federal Cabinet and all relevant authorities including the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Murtaza Solangi wrote in a message on X that he will assume his new responsibilities from tomorrow.
