The French President has called on the United Nations to establish an international mission to save Gaza from perpetual war.
According to the International News Agency, French President Emmanuel Macron called Israel’s plan for a complete military occupation of Gaza a step towards perpetual war.
President Macron called on the UN Security Council to immediately begin work on establishing a stabilization mission for Gaza.
He said that he has instructed his teams to immediately begin working with partners to establish a strong and effective mission under the UN in Gaza.
According to the French President, the aim of establishing an international mission under the UN is to stabilize Gaza, protect civilians and help restore order.
In his statement, President Macron once again emphasized that the war in Gaza must end now. The world needs a permanent ceasefire.
He added that the hostages and civilians of Gaza will suffer the most from Israel’s plan to take full military control of Gaza.
It should be noted that Emmanuel Macron’s statement comes at a time when Israel’s security cabinet has approved a plan for a full military occupation of Gaza City, which is being strongly criticized around the world.
It should be remembered that last month, the French President announced the recognition of Palestine as a state, which was followed by Britain and Canada, and thus, support for Palestine is increasing at the global level.
