Mohammad Yousuf, a former cricketer for Pakistan, may soon take on the role of fulltime batting coach for the national team.
This choice was made following Yousuf’s dismissal as the batting coach at the National High-Performance Centre (NHPC), Lahore. The NHPC will soon post an advertisement for the role of new batting coach. The Pakistan Cricket Board has not yet confirmed it (PCB).
Former Australian batter Matthew Hayden had been hired by the national cricket governing body as a batting consultant for the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia later this year, but he will no longer work with the green shirts.
