85 dengue cases reported in Rawalpindi so far

In Rawalpindi Division, 85 cases of dengue have been reported so far in 2025.

According to the Health Department, the number of dengue cases has reached 85 as of this day last year.

35 cases have been reported in Rawalpindi, 42 in Murree, while dengue has started to become uncontrollable in Murree and an increase in the number of patients has been seen.

Moreover, 4 dengue patients have been reported in Attock, 3 in Chakwal, and 1 in Jhelum. In the year 2024, 6869 cases were reported across the division.

According to the Health Department, the highest number of 6564 cases were reported in Rawalpindi during 2024, the Health Department

No death from dengue has been reported in the division so far during 2025, while 9614 suspected dengue patients have been reported in hospitals.

Dengue has been confirmed in 311 patients and 15 patients have been admitted. 10 dengue patients have been admitted to hospitals in Murree.

According to the health department, 2440 FIRs have been registered in Rawalpindi, 1112 places have been sealed, 2819 challans have been issued and a fine of more than Rs 40 million has been imposed due to the presence of larvae.

On the other hand, 43 FIRs, 189 sealings and a fine of Rs 730,000 have been imposed in Murree.
