2026 is going to be a big year for Bollywood fans. While the film ‘Dhurandhar’ made a splash at the box office in 2025, several big-budget films are going to be released this year that have the potential to create a stir in the film world.

According to Indian media, six films will be released this year, on which a total budget of about 2,800 crore Indian rupees has been spent.

At the top of the list is ‘Ramayan’, in which Ranbir Kapoor is playing the role of Lord Ram of Hinduism. The film is being directed by Nitish Tiwari, who is previously known for the success of the superhit film ‘Dangal’. It is being told that 900 crore rupees have been spent on the first part alone, while the budget of the entire series is about 4,000 crore rupees. The film ‘Ramayan’ will be the decoration of cinemas on the occasion of Diwali.

In second place is Bollywood’s King Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘King’, which has a budget of about Rs 300 crore. The special thing about this film is that Shah Rukh Khan will share the screen with his daughter Suhana Khan for the first time. The directorial work is being done by Siddharth Anand.

In third place on the list is ‘Dhurandhar 2’, in which Ranveer Singh will be seen in the lead role. This film will be released on March 19 this year and about Rs 250 crore has been spent on it.

In fourth place is ‘Border 2’, in which Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh are playing different important roles. This film will be released in cinemas on the 23rd of this month and about Rs 230 crore has been spent on it.

In fifth place are two films. On one hand, Salman Khan’s film ‘Battle of Galwan’ and on the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt’s film ‘Love and War’. According to the report, the budget of both the films is around Rs 200 crore.

In 2026, these films will create a sensation in Bollywood not only due to their big budget but also due to their star cast and expensive production and will bring a new wave of interest to the cinemas for the audience.
