Karachi: 232 more dengue cases have been reported in Sindh, with Karachi reporting the highest number of cases at 127.
According to the Sindh Health Department, dengue cases are increasing across the province, with 34 new dengue patients admitted to government hospitals and 17 to private hospitals, taking the total number of patients admitted across the province to 44.
The statement said that 17 new patients were admitted to government hospitals in Karachi division and 9 to government hospitals in Hyderabad.
The health department said that 38 patients from government hospitals and 34 from private hospitals have recovered and gone home in the last 24 hours.
According to the Sindh DG Health, no deaths due to dengue were reported across the province during the last 24 hours.
He said that 2,432 people were tested for dengue in Sindh, out of which 232 tested positive. The highest number of cases were reported in Karachi laboratories with 123 and 109 reports in Hyderabad.
