Karachi:
Pakistan fast bowler Harit Rauf, who is trying to recover from an injury, has said that he hopes for better results in the Champions Trophy, and the management will decide on Pakistan’s representation in the first match of the event against New Zealand.
Talking to the media on the occasion of the Pakistan cricket team’s practice session at the Oval Ground of the National Stadium on Monday, Haris Rauf said that during the last two days, I have done light exercises and also trained.
I am now feeling much better after the lip injury. I will take the decision to play in the first match for Pakistan, I am satisfied and am not feeling any pain.
In response to a question, Haris Rauf said that the impression that there are only three fast bowlers and one spinner in the Pakistan cricket team is not correct.
He said that we have a complete bowling unit in which along with Abrar Ahmed, Suleman Ali Agha is also a good spinner. Any player can perform well for Pakistan. It depends on the situation as to which bowler or batter performs better.
Haris Rauf, while answering the question regarding playing the first match of the Champions Trophy, said that the management will decide on it.
