KAMOKE (INP): Two persons were killed and two others injured when two rival groups clashed over property dispute here on Wednesday.
Police said that armed men of two groups hailing from Kasoki Road of tehsil Kamoke, district Gujranwala, traded fire over ownership of a piece of a land. In cross firing, two persons were killed on the spot while two others sustained wounds.
The bodies and injured were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities. Traffic on Kasoki Road remained suspended for several hours due to heavy firing. Tension prevailed in the area after the incident.
Police have registered a case against armed men of both groups and started investigation.
