The Following 5 Useful WhatsApp Features Are Coming

There are several upcoming features that WhatsApp is working on. Although we have previously covered them, we have compiled some of the more noteworthy features that you may have missed in this article.

The list contains both significant and less significant upcoming WhatsApp functions, all of which should enhance convenience and quality of life. Following are 5 features that are anticipated to be added to WhatsApp shortly.
1. Grocery shopping

In India, WhatsApp recently added grocery delivery. As you may anticipate, you can choose the products you desire from WhatsApp and use the app to have them delivered to your house.

2. Self-Talk

You can save critical texts, links, media, or other objects for easy access by sending messages to yourself in Telegram, Slack, and other chat apps. WhatsApp is now developing the feature for a future version after 84 years.

With this, you’ll be able to message yourself from connected devices in addition to your primary smartphone. It is only accessible in WhatsApp’s beta version, and it is unknown when it will be added to the stable version.

3. Privacy for Screenshots

Maintaining privacy is the sole goal of WhatsApp’s “see once” communications. But if these messages can be quickly captured in screenshots and distributed to others, there is little use in sending them.

4. Call Timer

Since the call button is located right next to the options button on Android and the minimize/close buttons on WhatsApp Desktop, we’ve all unintentionally called someone on WhatsApp. Contrary to traditional cell phone calls, calls made using the app instantaneously connect to the other party, leaving no time for the caller to respond and hang up a mistaken call.

The WhatsApp feature tracker WABetaInfo developed a concept feature to address this problem and stop such incidents. A call countdown may easily stop inadvertent calls by giving you three seconds prior to the call being placed, as seen in the screenshot above. The functionality needs to be optional, though, as it would annoy a lot of people.

5. Better Search

In a chat, it can be difficult to search for particular messages. There are already many search filtering options available in WhatsApp, but this functionality will soon be extended even more.

In a future update, the app will allow you to search for messages by date or community. You should be able to do this to quickly access communications from weeks, months, or even years past.
