Karachi: The Sindh Chief Minister has written a letter to the Prime Minister protesting the low allocation of funds by the National Highway Authority for Sindh.
According to Express News, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said in his letter to the Prime Minister that it is a matter of concern that the National Highway Authority has allocated less than 5 percent for Sindh, NHA has done injustice to Sindh in the annual development program.
The Sindh Chief Minister said that 38.65 percent of the money has been allocated for 33 projects in Punjab, 4.34 percent for 6 projects in Sindh, 17.59 percent for 30 projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and 23.87 percent for 22 projects in Balochistan.
Murad Ali Shah said that the construction of the Hyderabad-Sukkur Motorway is very important for the development of the country, he should issue instructions to the NHA to start the work of the Hyderabad-Sukkur M6 Motorway, and this project should be included in the annual development program.
