The regrettable deaths of eight Pakistanis and the injuries of six others were reported by the Foreign Office on Friday as a result of a fire that broke out in a hotel in Makkah.

An official from the Foreign Office responded to questions from the media about the deaths and injuries that had occurred in the hotel by stating that they had learned that eight Pakistani citizens had died and six others had been injured.

The representative also mentioned that their Jeddah Mission was collaborating with regional authorities to offer assistance to people who were impacted and their families. According to early accounts, the hotel on Ibrahim Khalil Road’s third floor may have been the fire’s starting point.

Riaz Gujjar, his wife, his maternal grandfather, his father-in-law, and Haji Ashraf, in addition to his wife and mother-in-law, have all been named as some of the lately deceased. Apparently, they were from Kasur in Punjab.

At the time of the tragedy, the hotel was housing Umrah pilgrims from Pakistan, Bangladesh, and other nations.
