Mohsin Abbas Haider, a prominent Pakistani actor and singer, plays the major role in the short film Main Shahrukh Khan Hoon. Badar Mehmood, known for his work on Cheekh, directed the short movie. Shakil Hussain Khan and Adnan Soddha produced it. Hamza Ibne Wasi is the writer of the short film.

An aspiring actor who idolises Shahrukh Khan and constantly imitates him is the subject of the short film; as a result, the character has lost his personality. The actor eventually became an extra who performed small roles in which he mimicked Shahrukh Khan. The conversation in the first scene of the film features an actor imitating Shahrukh Khan, who is then taught by his conscience about sacrificing his identity in order to follow his passion and his idol.

Only Mohsin Abbas Haider plays five different personas in the Main Shahrukh Khan Hoon , including a lawyer, a police officer, and an actor. In the end, the ambitious actor was able to reclaim his own identity by declining to play Shahrukh Khan for a brief supporting part.
