The parties in the opposition alliance have decided to attend the National Security Committee meeting of Parliament tomorrow. According to the report, sources said that PTI members held a meeting in the opposition lobby in which they discussed the issue of attending the important in-camera meeting.
Sources said that the majority of the opposition members insisted on attending the meeting, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Barrister Gohar strongly supported attending the meeting, while PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Junaid Akbar said that the decision should be taken after consulting the founder.
Later, PTI gave a list of 14 members, according to which Omar Ayub, Barrister Gohar, Asad Qaiser, Zartaj Gul, Sahibzada Hamid Raza will attend the National Security Committee meeting tomorrow.
Apart from them, Aamir Dogar, Muhammad Bashir Khan, Sanaullah Mastikhel, Ali Muhammad Khan and Zubair Khan will also attend, Shibli Faraz, Ali Zafar, Humayun Mohmand and Aun Abbas will participate.
Sources say that it has been decided to keep the National Assembly and Senate Secretariats closed tomorrow, Secretariat employees have been given leave tomorrow, entry of all members of parliament except committee members has also been banned, committee members will be allowed into parliament on special invitation.
According to sources, a ban has also been imposed on media coverage tomorrow, media representatives will also not be allowed to enter parliament tomorrow.
It should be remembered that a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security will be held tomorrow, in which a briefing will be given by the military leadership.
According to the National Assembly spokesperson, the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security will be held on Tuesday, March 18 at 11 am. Keeping in mind the sanctity of the month of Ramadan, the time of the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security has been changed to 11 am.
The meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security will be held in camera, in which a briefing will be given on the security situation. In the meeting, the military leadership will inform the Parliamentary Committee about the current security situation in the country. The meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security will be held in the National Assembly Hall.
According to the spokesperson, the parliamentary leaders of all political parties present in the parliament and their nominated representatives will attend the meeting. In addition, the relevant cabinet members will also attend the meeting.
