ISLAMABAD: On Monday, a strong 5.2-magnitude earthquake hit Islamabad, Peshawar, and other Pakistani cities.
People left their homes out of terror as tremors were also felt in Chitral, Gizr in Gilgit Baltistan, Lower Dir, Malaknd, and several other places in southern and northern Pakistan.
At the border between Afghanistan and Tajikistan, close to the Hindu Kush range, the earthquake’s epicentre was estimated to be 90 kilometres deep.
Initial reports indicate there have been no damages.
