Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that the people of Pakistan are with the Palestinians and the Lebanese in difficult times, our homes and educational institutions are there for the Palestinians.
Speaking at the Palestinian students’ event in Islamabad, the Prime Minister said that even the decision of the International Court of Justice could not stop Israel, while Israel has thrown the UN resolutions and the recommendations of the international community into the trash.
He said that Israel brutally bombarded schools, hospitals and shelters, while despite the judgment of the International Court of Justice and the resolutions of the United Nations, the international community has failed to establish a cease-fire in Gaza and remains a silent spectator to Israeli brutality.
The prime minister said that the cities and villages in Palestine are presenting a scene of destruction, the resolutions of the Security Council and the International Court of Justice are helpless in front of Israel, while the international community is not playing an effective role in the ceasefire.
He said that more than 43 thousand Palestinians have been martyred due to Israeli brutality. The Prime Minister said that the people of Pakistan are standing with the Palestinian and Lebanese brothers in this difficult time, all educational facilities will be provided to the Palestinian students in Pakistan.
Addressing the Palestinian students, the Prime Minister said that Pakistan is your second home, our hearts beat with you, educational facilities will be provided to the Palestinian students at government expense, the presence of 145 Palestinian students in Pakistan is a start.
