ISLAMABAD: The session of the National Assembly was adjourned due to lack of quoram Wednesday.
According to details, the NA session begun earlier with the recitation of the Holy with Speaker Ayaz Sadiq in the chair. However, Speaker Ayaz Sadiq adjourned the session after Peoples Party’s legislator Sattar Bachani pointed to the lack of quorum with the beginning of the Question Hour.
Pointing out the lack of quorum to the Speaker Ayaz Sadiq Sattar Bachani said that all the treasury legislators have gone to welcome the ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif and how many answers could Aftab Shaikh give alone by himself. It’s better that you as well as go home, Bachani said addressing the Speaker.
The Speaker adjourned the proceedings of the session till there is required quorum in the House. Adjourning the proceedings Speaker Ayaz Sadiq invited the legislators present to join him for tea because he has to return back to the house.
