Dr. Farooq Sattar, the chairman of the MQM-P organization restoration committee, lost his mother on Thursday in Karachi at the age of 85.
The senior lawmaker acknowledged that his mother, who was receiving treatment at a private facility, had passed away.
The cremation prayers for the dead will be offered at KMC Ground in PIB Colony today (Thursday), according to a spokeswoman for Sattar.
