Pakistan has pledged to support Afghanistan fully during this trying period.

More than 600 people were injured in the Wednesday earthquake in Afghanistan, according to emergency management officials, and the death toll is anticipated to rise as word spreads from isolated mountain settlements.

Images on Afghan media showed that following the magnitude 6.1 earthquake, homes were reduced to rubble, and bodies covered in blankets lay on the ground.
