A graphic video uploaded by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders was deemed “fake” and used as a “ploy to generate false narratives in an effort to divert from PTI leader Shahbaz Gill’s contentious statement,” according to Information and Entertainment Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb on Saturday.
She also presented a “recent video” at a press conference in Islamabad that allegedly depicts Gill standing up and appearing well, contradicting claims that he was tortured and sexually assaulted stated by former prime minister Imran Khan and other PTI leaders.
“Shahbaz Gill has not been tortured, and this claim is based solely on false information. Gill begins acting when he enters the frame of the camera “She spoke.
According to Marriyum, Gill is being blamed for a video showing a rapist in Chakwal being tormented by locals after he sexually attacked a youngster.
Shahbaz Gill is allegedly the sexual assault victim in the second half of the film, which is only being shown. Playing phoney films and images is considered a cybercrime. There are attempts to link this misinformation with free speech.
