Rawalpindi: PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that if time allows the independent leadership of PTI to come to Kot Lakhpat Jail.

PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi while talking to the media representatives after appearing in the court criticized the independent leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. He paid tribute to the struggle of Bushra Bibi, Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that like-minded political parties should be brought on a platform on common points. Instead of criticizing Muslim League-N, Bilawal Bhutto should call the Central Executive Committee meeting and stand with the democratic forces. Today Supreme Court, High Court Judges are suffering from severe difficulties.

He said that he is asking his independent leadership, Barrister Gohar, Umar Ayub, Salman Akram, Waqas Akram to come to Kot Lakhpat Jail if time permits. Yasmin Rashid, Mahmood Rashid, Sarfraz Cheema are also imprisoned in Lahore Jail for a long time. Listen to our point of view. I have 40 years of political experience, will give good advice. PTI Azad leadership is doing a good job, thank you, listen to our point of view. We pay tribute to the struggle of our independent leadership.

He further said that I request all like-minded political parties to coordinate on common points. Bushra Bibi has bravely served jail time. The nation has expectations from the judiciary. Like-minded parties should be united for a strong Pakistan. Let Bilawal Bhutto decide where he should stand. All democratic forces now have to decide where they stand.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Adiala was closed in the cipher case. Today, Kot Lakhpat Jail is closed in the false cases of May 9. Where I was standing, I was lying, I am still standing there. I was with IK (Imran Khan) and will remain so in sha Allah.

He said that on November 24, I support the founder chairman of PTI. The whole nation, lawyers, youth, come out on November 24, raise the voice of rights. Workers be peaceful on November 24, don’t take law into hands. Peaceful protest is our constitutional and legal right.
