QUETTA: On Tuesday, 15 more people lost their lives in Balochistan as a result of the torrential rainstorm that continued to pound many regions, destroying homes and causing infrastructure damage.
According to officials, the most recent fatalities were recorded in Zhob, Qilla Saifullah, Kohlu, Naushki, and Lasbela, where flash floods were caused by recent rainfall.

While the district of Awaran was still blocked off from other places because of injuries to roads and bridges, heavy rainfall in stream catchment areas were causing flooding in several areas.
Food shortages were affecting stranded residents in Awaran’s towns of Mashkey and Gajjar since relief supplies had not yet arrived.
Large portions of Jhal Magsi, Gandawah, and Jaffarabad, according to sources, were submerged because the Lehri River or other streams were still delivering strong floodwaters, which complicated rescue and relief efforts in the affected districts.
