Australia whitewashed Pakistan in the T20 series

In the third and final T20I match, Australia defeated Pakistan and won the series 0-3. In the match played in Hobart, Australia set Pakistan’s target of 118 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 11.2 overs.

In pursuit of the target, Australia’s Marcus Stones scored an unbeaten 61 off 27 balls with five sixes and five fours, while Josh Ingles scored 27 and Jack Fraser played an innings of 18 runs.

For Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi, Abbas Afridi and Jehandad Khan took one wicket each.

Earlier, Pakistan had won the toss and decided to bat first, the Pakistani batsmen proved to be a wall of sand in front of the Australian bowlers and the entire Pakistan team was dismissed for 117 runs.

Pakistan team could not even play full 20 overs and got out after scoring 117 runs in 18.1 overs. Babar Azam with 41 and Haseebullah Khan stood out with 24 runs.

Shaheen Afridi scored 16 runs, Sahibzada Farhan scored 9 runs, Jahanddad Khan scored 5 runs, and Usman Khan scored 3 runs. Captain Salman Agha, Abbas Afridi Sufyan Muqim scored one run, Haris Rauf was not out with zero.

For Australia, Aaron Hardy took 3 wickets, Adam Zampa and Spencer Johnson took 2 wickets each.

In the third T20I, Pakistan team was led by vice-captain Salman Ali Agha while Mohammad Rizwan did not participate in the match.

The Pakistani playing XI included Sahibzada Farhan, Babar Azam, Haseebullah, Salman Ali Agha, Irfan Khan Niazi, Abbas Afridi, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Jahandad Khan, Haris Rauf and Sufian Moqim.

It should be noted that the host Australia had already won the series by winning the first two matches.

Australia defeated Pakistan by 29 runs in the first T20 and in the second match by 13 runs. The Pakistani team has not been able to defeat the Kangaroos in the T20 match in Australia so far.
