The Corps Commanders Conference chaired by Field Marshal and Army Chief General Asim Munir has reiterated its resolve to take all necessary steps to ensure Pakistan’s security at all costs and said that the hostile elements working under foreign patronage to create an atmosphere of chaos and fear will be destroyed with national resolve and full capability.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the 270th Corps Commanders Conference was held under the chairmanship of Field Marshal Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir.
The statement said that the conference began with the recitation of Fateha for the martyrs of Operation Banyan Marsus and the terrorist attacks in Khuzdar district of Balochistan.
According to the ISPR, the participants of the conference said that this atrocity was carried out by proxies backed by India, as a result of which four innocent children and two innocent people were martyred.
The forum termed the deliberate targeting of unarmed civilians, especially innocent children, as a blatant and condemnable violation of the basic principles of humanity and international law.
‘Tribute to the martyrs of the struggle for justice’
The Corps Commanders’ Conference paid rich tribute to the martyrs of the struggle for justice who sacrificed their lives during India’s unprovoked aggression. The blood of the martyrs will not go in vain and the forum reiterated that the protection of the people of Pakistan will remain the top priority of the armed forces.
The ISPR said that the conference participants also acknowledged the strategic vision of the Field Marshal, his unwavering leadership and his effective and valuable services for national defense.
The forum congratulated Army Chief General Asim Munir on being conferred the title of Field Marshal.
The Corps Commanders’ Conference reviewed the challenges facing internal and external security and the overall security situation in detail and the Forum particularly appreciated the successful completion of Operation ‘Banyan Marsus’, a crucial and decisive phase of the ‘Battle of Truth’.
‘Media boosted public confidence with accurate figures’
The Forum appreciated the professionalism, mutual coordination, high morale and unwavering support of the nation by the Pakistan Armed Forces and commended the Pakistani media and “information warriors” who stood shoulder to shoulder with the state against Indian propaganda, fake news and war madness.
The participants of the Conference said that the Pakistani media boosted public confidence and countered misinformation by presenting facts and figures accurately. The Forum wholeheartedly appreciated the spirit and dynamic participation of the Pakistani youth, whose national patriotism and enthusiasm not only highlighted the national spirit but also effectively presented the national narrative.
