KARACHI: In light of ongoing disputes over child custody and domestic abuse, Pakistani actor Feroze Khan has requested that his ex-wife Aliza Sultan try to settle the matters amicably.
Khan’s attorney confirmed the situation while speaking to the media, stating that an offer had been made for the out-of-court settlement and that he thought the issues could be resolved in a few hearings if Aliza consented to it.
According to Sultan’s attorney, persistent legal matters prevented the children of his clients from enrolling in school.
Aliza Sultan filed a petition with a family court in Karachi after she and her ex-husband divorced in September, requesting Rs 200,000 for the upkeep and education of their children. Her ex-husband has only offered to pay Rs 40,000.
Feroze Khan, who has denied the accusations, also claimed that Aliza had experienced physical and psychological abuse during their relationship.
