DNA24-91ISLAMABAD: PTI Chief Imran Khan Monday said if the administration resorted to shelling or other tactics, ‘the captain’ would confront the government on November 30 till his last breath.
“Put us in jails or do whatever you can, we will fight back,” Imran Khan said while addressing the participants of his sit-in.
Imran Khan challenged the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to come to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and stage a public meeting there. “Now Shahbaz Sharif is not even a position to hold a rally in Punjab,” he added.
He said on the one hand the government was inviting his party for talks while on the other it was closing down Islamabad ahead of his planned sit-in on November 30.
To the Punjab police force, Imran Khan said they should function according to the law, as ‘you are not the personal servants of Nawaz Sharif’.
Imran Khan said his party has changed from what it was on August 14.
He said after getting no justice, peaceful protest was his right.
Meanwhile, PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi Monday said that his party would hold a public gathering and not sit-in at D-Chowk in Islamabad at the end of the current month.
Talking to media in Multan, Qureshi said that PTI has so far held peaceful rallies, adding that temperament of November 30 rally would depend upon the govnt’s attitude. Agencies
