sirajSHIKARPUR:  Jamaat Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq on Sunday said that the people of Sindh have voted and tested Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), adding that people should give a chance to JI as well, reported.

He said Jamaat Islami will not disappoint the people of Sindh. Addressing a public rally in Shikarpur, Sirajul Haq said that Jamaat Islami is struggling against the corrupt and cruel system in the country.

He said he wants to create an ‘Islamic Pakistan’ and not a ‘new Pakistan’. He said Jamaat will root out the VIP culture from the country after coming into power. Jamaat chief said that the government has failed to resolve people’s issues adding that the rulers are not following their manifestos.

“Every child is in debt today because of government’s wrong policies”, he said. He said the government, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri should negotiate their way out of the political impasse in best interest of the country.

Talking about India’s aggression on Line of Control (LoC), Sirajul Haq said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should adequately respond to India.
