Former national team captain Shahid Afridi called the current generation of players the McDonald’s and KFC generation.

During an interview with broadcaster Star Sports before the start of the Champions Trophy, the former captain and all-rounder expressed surprise at the friendly behavior of the players on the field during the Pakistan-India match.

The anchor asked that Shahid Bhai, you used to get very angry on the field, but now it doesn’t happen, to which the former captain replied that the current generation of players is the McDonald’s and KFC generation.

On this occasion, when the anchors asked about fitness, Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh said that you have not been talking about fitness at all, after which the show started laughing.

Earlier yesterday, the former all-rounder had raised objections to the inclusion of some players in the Pakistani squad for the Champions Trophy, but avoided naming them.

Talking to the media after a ceremony in Lahore, former captain Shahid Khan Afridi said that teams from all over the world came to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy, India should have also come.
