Shehryar Cheema, the son of famous Pakistani film actor Shafqat Cheema, has denied the news of his father going into a coma. Shehryar clarified that his father was not in a coma but was suffering from pneumonia.
Rumors were doing the rounds on social media that Shafqat Cheema suffered a stroke and went into a coma, following which fans were worried. However, Shehryar in a video message termed the news as “fake”, saying, “Alhamdulillah, my father is now perfectly well and at home.”
Shafqat Cheema was briefly admitted to Shalimar Hospital in Lahore, but has now recovered and returned. Initial reports falsely reported that he had been admitted to the ICU due to a blood clot in the brain, prompting concern among fans.
Fans expressed relief after knowing the true situation and some demanded the media to show responsibility regarding the health of senior actors.
Remember, Shafqat Cheema played the iconic role in the 2011 blockbuster film “Bool” and recently played the role of Jeeva Nut in “The Legend of Moolah Jat”.
