The House of Pir Sial has again joined PMLN . This U turn reminds me of an olden write up of mine. Let’s have a read.
“As I hail from Sargodha and have some know-how about the political contour of the region ,I can imagine the influence of Pir Sial Shareef on the politics of this area. There will be no exaggeration if I say that on this specific issue, at least in three districts i.e. Sargodha, Jhang and Faislalabad , he has the potential to jolt and even uproot PMLN. It is not that simple that MNA’s and MPA’s of this area are willing to tender their resignation on his call. This is actually surrender or a humble acknowledgment of his influence that no politician can ignore. At this specific moment and on this specific issue his wrath can eviscerate the political future of any MNA or MPA. Today in Faisalabad the lawmakers belonging to Jhang, Chiniot, Faisalabad and Sargodha districts, include MNAs Dr Nisar Ahmad Jutt and Ghulam Bibi Bharwana; Punjab MPAs Maulana Rehmatullah, Nizam-ud-Din Sialvi and Khan Muhammad Baloch have made it clear that they are ready to resign from the assemblies.
I think the figure will mount. More resignations are in the offing. Pir of Sial Sharif has the potential to get at least 12 parliamentarians out of the Parliament. If it happens PMLN has to face the music. Now PMLN is facing what we call catch -22. Rana Sanaullah resigns or he doesn’t resign PMLN is in deep waters. And in the given situation it is not easy for Rana Sanaullah to continue. His resolve can earn him some more days in the power corridor but at the end of the day he will have to resign. Ground realities speak volumes of the fact that he can’t continue. He is destined to resign and go.
Now if the second law minister resigns in a row while general elections are not that far, it can jolt the politics of PMLN. If he doesn’t resign , it can uproot PMLN , at least in these districts.”
Now the Pir Sial group has again joined PMLN. So this is politics. Stupid this is politics.
