ISLAMABAD: On Friday, Justice Aamer Farooq took the oath necessary to become the new Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court (CJ IHC).In today’s swearing-in event at the President’s House, Justice Aamer administered the oath of office to President Dr. Arif Alvi (Friday).
As the sixth Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court, Justice Aamer Farooq took an oath.A guard of honour was also provided in recognition of the new CJ IHC following the swearing-in event.
It should be mentioned that Justice Aamer Farooq, the senior judge on the IHC, had been appointed as the Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court with the Judicial Commission’s approval.
