RAWALPINDI: Sheikh Rashid Ahmad, leader of the Awami Muslim League (AML) and a former interior minister, stated on Monday that Lal Haveli’s history cannot be erased, unlike “nine zero.”

The AML chief claimed on Twitter that the institutions had targeted the Lal Haveli of three marles because they had not discovered any evidence against him in their investigations of 16 ministries.

The eviction order issued by the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) was contested in court on Monday by the former interior minister as well.He also addressed the win of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in the by-elections in the tweet.

He added that Imran Khan winning six out of eight seats is a record-breaking feat and criticised the “incompetent rulers” for bringing shame upon themselves and elevating us in the public eye.

It is important to note that the ETPB gave Sheikh Rashid a seven-day deadline to leave Lal Haveli. According to the specifics, Sheikh Rashid and his brother Sheikh Siddique have received an eviction notice from ETPB for occupying seven land units owned by ETPB, including Lal Haveli.

The Lal Haveli must be abandoned within seven days, the deputy administrator warned, or the police will be called in to help. Additionally, on October 19, the deputy administrator sent a letter to the police requesting their assistance.

We have a legal and constitutional claim to Lal Haveli, according to former federal minister Sheikh Rashid.
