In the next 24 hours, Karachi’s weather is expected to be cloudy with a risk of light rain

Karachi: The next 24 hours are expected to be cloudy with a slight risk of light rain.

The minimum temperature that was recorded the previous day was 27°C, while the maximum temperature is expected to range between 30°C and 32°C, in accordance with the Pakistan Meteorological Department.85 percent humidity was measured this morning.

Sherry Rehman, the minister of climate change, has cautioned against water logging in Karachi’s low-lying districts due to further rain that is predicted during August 6 and August 9.

Waterlogging may also happen in Badin, Thatta, Sujawal, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tando Allayar, Dadu, Jamshoro, and Kambar Shahdadkot, according to Rehman, who cited the Met Office.

According to the Met Office’s monsoon weather projection, moderately strong currents are predicted to reach eastern Sindh between August 4’s evening and August 5’s morning.

It stated that from August 5 to August 9, monsoon with a few modest falls are anticipated under the impact of this weather system In addition, the advice warned that during the anticipated period, heavy rains could cause water logging in low-lying regions of the Karachi, Badin, Thatta, Sujawal, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tando Allayar, Dadu Jamshoro, and Kambar Shahdadkot districts.
