Mardan :Adhering to its key objective of internationalizing higher education, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan signed MOU with Victoria University of Wellington, NewZealand.
The MOU signing ceremony took place at the Pakistan House, Wellington. On behalf of AWKUM, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali signed the MOU while Pro Vice-Chancellor International, Professor Roberto Rabel signed the MOU on behalf of Victoria University of Wellington, NewZealand.
Through MOU, both the universities agree to collaborate in order to promote higher education and research on both sides. Furthermore, the universities also agree to undertake joint academic activities to further enhance and strengthen the academia on both sides.
On the occasion, Prof. Dr. Ali reiterated that Victoria University of Wellington was established in 1897 and since then it has been delivering to promote higher education. He further said that the MOU between the two universities will help promote research and will provide a platform for several other academic activities that could prove vital for the students, academic staff and researchers on both sides.
In the end, Prof. Dr. Ali extended sincere thanks to Professor Rabel, the management and staff of Victoria University of Wellington for joining hands with AWKUM in order to uplift mutual academic interests.
