World Physical Therapy Day’ today

ISLAMABAD (INP) Riphah International University is going to commemorate “World Physical Therapy Day” on 8th September, 2014 at F-9 Park in Islamabad.

The day is an opportunity for physical therapists from all over the world to raise awareness about the crucial contribution the profession makes to keeping people well, mobile and independent. This year the theme is “Fit to take part”, emphasizing physical therapists’ role in helping people with long-term illnesses or disabilities become independent and fulfill their potential.

Students, faculties and management of Riphah University will participate in walk and also people from different walks of life will expected to take part of this dedicated walk.
