ISLAMABAD (DNA): Work on different development projects in the federal capital have been stopped due to continued sit-ins by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistani Awami Tehrik (PAT) in the city.

Dozens of uplift projects of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) have been delayed to these sit-ins. These projects were scheduled to start in the months of August and September but they could not be started due to sit-ins.

The CDA Monitoring Committee in the current month fixed deadline for the work on the projects of Kurri Model Village, Park Enclave, Sectors I-12, E-12, D-12, I-15 and C-15, but the work on these projects could not be initiated owing to sit-ins.

Besides this the development work on Kashmir Highway, construction of overhead bridge on 7th Avenue , underground parking in Jinnah Supper Market, building of Margalla Highway and dozens of others projects could not be started.
