ISLAMABAD, Nov 27 (INP): The Women Parliamentarians Caucus has taken a new initiative by conducting the workshop on Women Policing in Pakistan. This workshop will bring awareness among the policy makers and stake holders to improve the work environment and would advice the Government to introduce relevant policies. We at the
National assembly are very pleased to host this workshop which is an important discussion on the role of women police in enforcing law and order.
This was stated by the Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq while chairing the concluding session of the Workshop here at Islamabad.
Speaking on less representation of women in police, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that since we are a primitive and conservative society so generally families do not send their daughters in police. It is important to motivate educated girls to join this service to improve
its image and to reach out to average Pakistani woman who has vital role to play in family and nation building.
