ISLAMABAD (NNI): Chief Minister of Punjab Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday challenged the opposition that he will quit politics if corruption of a single penny is proved against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. The minister thanked Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Provincial General Council for electing him unopposed as president for Punjab.
Addressing the ceremony in Islamabad, he bashed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and taunted that if they want to shutdown the major cities on daily basis then they should have a bun from Lahore markets.
No one will be allowed to sabotage country’s development, he added.
He said those surrounding Imran Khan have written off their loans worth billions. Shehbaz Sharif assured that all the development programs including Orange Line Train project will be completed soon despite condemnation from PTI and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q). Meanwhile, CM Punjab also motivated the participants to chant slogans. NNI
