ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said on Thursday that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz would be proved as the beneficiary of Mayfair flats in London on Friday (today).
Addressing media in Bani Gala, Imran said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s legal team would conclude its stance in the Supreme Court (SC) by Monday then would hear out Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz’s (PMLN) replies. He said that whatever the result might be, the PTI would accept the apex court’s verdict in Panama Leaks case.
He said that the opposition is supposed to identify the violation of laws in a democratic setup, providing evidence is not their responsibility. Alleging the Prime Minister of dishonesty, the PTI chief said that for the last eight months, the only job the government has been doing was to hide Prime Minister’s corruption. He added that ‘motu gang’ was lying to the entire public.
Imran alleged that the PM has shifted his entire money – earned through corrupt means – to foreign accounts, declaring his children the owner of the funds. Offshore companies were established to cover family’s corruption.
Earlier, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Panama case has become stronger after the submission of new evidences.
Talking to media outside Supreme Court, Qureshi said that we are standing firm on our stance and the nation will soon witness how Qatari Prince’s letter will be thrashed in court.
Awami Muslim League (AML) head Sheikh Rasheed said that he will request the court to summon Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Qatari Prince to record their statements.
Sheikh Rasheed added that this case would reach its conclusion if the statements of these two men will be taken in court. NNI/News Desk
