QadriFAISALABAD: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Allama Tahirul Qadri has said that he would independently decide the fate of sit-ins after Minar-e-Pakistan Lahore’s rally.
Before his departure from Faisalabad to Islamabad Friday, chief TuQ said he intends to carry out consultation after reaching the site of the sit-in and shall announce future strategy after Lahore’s rally due on October 19. He said Javed Hashmi had to face the consequences of criticizing sit-ins and imposing baseless accusations of ‘London plan’. Javed Hashmi was not able to understand the psyche of the people, he added.
Qadri indicted that billions of rupees fund for flood victims has been embezzled. He said cheques issued to flood affectees in Jhang have bounced and victims continue to suffer. The proclamation of Rs 4000 per acre also proved farce and nobody received a single penny, he added.INP
