LAHORE: Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Sunday stated that the government is working on 22nd amendment to halt horse trading for Senate elections.
PM Nawaz met Chief MInister of Punjab (CM) Shahbaz Sharif and discussed key issues including economy and ongoing situation of the country. During the meeting, preparations regarding Senate elections were also taken under consideration.
On this occasion, PM Nawaz assured to make corruption-free politics and expressed that the welfare of nation lies in the consolidation of democracy. DNA
