Eight South African cricketers will not be able to participate in the IPL play-offs due to the World Test Championship final.
According to Cricinfo, these eight players include Kagiso Rabada, Aiden Markram, Marco Jensen, Tristan Stubbs, Lungi Ngidi, Wayne Mulder, Ryan Rickleton and Corbin Bosh, who will leave for Britain with the rest of the South African squad on May 30 for the World Test Championship final and will play a warm-up match against Zimbabwe at Arundel from June 3.
ESPN Cricinfo has confirmed that Cricket South Africa has reached an agreement with the IPL administration regarding the early release of the players.
The WTC final will be played between Australia and South Africa at Lord’s from June 11.
