ISLAMABAD: Sardar Khan Niazi, Chief Editor of the Pakistan Group of Newspapers and Chairman of Roze News TV, talked in Sachi Baat. In the program SK Niazi shared his views on the International Press Day. SK Niazi Chairman of Roze News said we believe in freedom of press. We must follow the rules and ethics in Journalism. There is freedom of speech in the country and it should not be censored. He stresses on that all media groups must follow the rules and ethics in Journalism. He also shares his concerns on the recent situation.

Replying to the question Justice ®️ Wajih-u-din said that it’s not job of SC to make table talks. His said SC orders to held election in Punjab on 14th May. But it seems impossible that elections will happen on 14th May. He said KP elections case is still pending the High Court. He said Balochistan and Sindh assemblies have right to complete their tenures. Govt wants to play with own empires.

Answering to the question Law expert Amanullah Kanrani share his views on the judiciary conflicts and recent problems of elections. He cleared that I am no associated to any political party. He said main issue was to held election on same day. Election must be conduct on given time and according to law. Without fulfilling constitutional requirements elections must not held. Election issue must leave to the ECP. Election doesn’t mean polling day but it also consists of census. Judges only demand is to extend their job duration.

Azhar Siddique, renowned law expert also participated program via video link and share his opinion on question related to judiciary problems. He said former CJ Iftikhar Lawyer’s moment was consist of two agendas. He said there are rules and regulations to appoint CJ. Former CJ few cases were tried to made controversial. He also revealed that American powers are against the IK. 13 political parties are not conducting elections. He also asked that to what is the constitutional problem to not conducting elections in 90 days.

Renowned economist Dr. Shahid Hassan talked about current economical crisis and political issues. He criticized the caretaker govt and asked that who gave the authority to them to present budget. Caretaker govt only deals with the routine works of administration. To present and to pass the budget in the assembly it’s the duty of an elected govt. During the institutional conflicts ECP involved itself without any reason.

He also said if we want to resume IMF program we must bring economical stability in the country. IMF asked to increase the tax circle. IMF told to stop the subsidy on importers. He also revealed a shocking fact that if the country’s economical situation remains the same we will not be able to pay the external debts in 2024 and 2025. Govt and opposition must think about the betterment and prosperity of the country. People are very hopeless nowadays. IMF wants to make us dependent on them. He advise that we must clear that we should not be dictated by anybody.
