War against terrorism

At least ten people were killed in a US drone strike in North Waziristan Agency near the Afghan border in northwestern Pakistan in the area of Datta Khel. Reports suggest that there were two foreigners, Uzbek nationals, amongst the killed ones. In response to this violation of international laws by the US, government of Pakistan condemned the attack through the Foreign Office (FO). However, one cannot help but ask: why is the FO issuing condemnations at a time when the Pakistan army could use all the help it can get? Pakistan military in has launched Operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan to root out terrorists. Operation Zarb-e-Azb has been ongoing since June. Clear objective of the operation is to completely eliminate terrorist hideouts from the area. The question arises when our armed forces are fighting with the terrorists than there should not be hues and cry when they are being killed by any mean or by anyone. But mutual cooperation needed between US and Pakistan to launch such attacks. Both the countries are fighting war against terrorism; hence a mutual policy or action against terrorists would be more lethal and would bring devastation for the militants.
