With each passing day hope is growing in Pakistan that the currently is finding heading in the right direction in the on going war against terror. Be it the terror stricken province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Balochistan province, the city of Karachi or any area of Punjab, the Pakistan Army under the leadership of Army Chief General Raheel Sharif is taking the terrorists head on and with great success. The recently concluded operation in the Rajanpur area of Punjab against the notorious Chotu gang is a good example of the strong will of the military leadership to purge the country of the menace of terrorism. The Chotu gang, with heavily armed gang members and with an ideal place to counter any offensive managed to hold Punjab Police for many days. In fact the gang was so strong that it not only held its own again the Punjab Police but also martyred and kidnapped many policemen. This is when the Armed Forces stepped in and with days forced the leader of Chotu gang to surrender along with other gang members.

Similarly if you look at the situation in Balochistan, it has improved tremendously over the last couple of years. The atmosphere of fear is being slowly replaced by an atmosphere of hope. In Karachi which is known as the city of lights was in such a mess that people started labeling it as the city of crime. However, with the Rangers action pace has returned to the city and business is booming once again. With the strong will and determination of the Armed Forces it won’t be long before every single terrorist is eliminated from our beloved homeland.

The successful operations against militant elements by Armed Forces have raised the hopes of the nation.
