
SAHIWAL: Zain Qureshi, the PTI candidate and son of former foreign minister and party vice chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi, has been charged with engaging in corrupt behaviour during the by-election campaign in UC-44, Multan, according to District Monitoring Officer for PP 217 Haider Riaz.
The investigation is being done as a result of a complaint. Every voter who manages to cast 10 votes in favour of Zain Qureshi will receive a brand-new motorcycle, according to the article.
According to the inquiry letter, these actions are regarded as corrupt behaviour, and Article 218(3) of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan gives the Election Commission the authority to prevent such behaviour. The inquiry has been directed to the Multan DRTA secretary and Sadar assistant commissioner.
