Wellington: New Zealand pacer Mitchell McClenaghan collapsed on the pitch after a bouncer crashed through his grille during the first one-day international against Pakistan on Monday.
The New Zealand pacer suffered facial injuries after being struck in the face, the he later took to social media to update fans on his injury where fans from across the world wished him a speedy recovery. McClenaghan was facing Pakistani quick Anwar Ali on the penultimate ball of New Zealand’s innings when he was struck on the face, he was sent to the turf after missing a hook shot.
