Urdu University employees protest against VC continues

ISLAMABAD (DNA): FederalUrduUniversity, Islamabad employees’ protest is continued against Vice Chancellor Dr Zafar Iqbal for his alleged corruption and mismanagement.

The employees chanted slogans against the vice chancellor. The employees said that they were protesting against Vice Chancellor Zafar Iqbal’s corruption, his making a delay in starting the work on the construction of Islamabad campus and not giving the medical facilities to the employees.

Addressing the protesting employees, speakers said the Vice Chancellor Zafar Iqbal earlier took action against the protesting employees and dismissed three employees from service and stopped the salaries of some employees.

They said that they would not accept at any cost revengeful action by the vice chancellor .

They employees appealed to President of Pakistan, ChancellorFederalUrduUniversity and Chairman Higher Education Commission (HEC) to take the notice of the situation.
