ISLAMABAD: The special court headed by Justice Faisal Arab on Tuesday resumed hearing of treason case against former president Pervez Musharraf.
The defence team of Musharraf today cross-examined a member of the FIA investigation team Maqsoodul Hassan.
Defence counsel Farogh Naseem submitted a letter of former prime minister Shaukat Aziz in the court, in which than PM had advised Musharraf for the proclamation of Nov 3, 2007, emergency.
Prosecution objected that at this stage of the case a document published in a newspaper could not be produced as evidence.
The court sustained the objection of the prosecution but allowed defence counsels to question the witness over the matter.
